PhotoHunt 188: Bird(s)

Our PhotoHunt 188: is Bird(s) . I messed up with my days. I really thought that yesterday was Saturday and I almost submitted my photohunt entry yesterday but when I checked on their website I didn’t see the entry for this week's theme, so that’s when I learned that it was still Friday yesterday. Silly me, lol. Anyways, here’s my entry. I took this photo when we went to the beach a few months ago and it was a gloomy day and cold.

Why asking my address?

A friend of mine who lives in another state asked for my home address because she said that she’ll send me some christmas cards. I don’t really know the true reason of her asking for my home address but I gave it to her anyways. Well, she knows that we don’t really participate in such holidays because of religious reasons, so I doubted her sending me one of those said cards. I think the real reason why she wants to know where exactly I live is because she wants to surprise me one day with her knocking on our door. It would be nice to see her visiting me here in San Diego so we can be updated with our precious life. Wink!

Just got home from Horton Plaza

Oh my feet are so tired from wandering around the Horton plaza downtown. We just got home not too long ago and my feet are hurting right now. It’s hard to accept the truth that my feet aren’t used to a long walk anymore. We wandered around for 2 hours and of course it hurts to see those items for sale because we couldn’t afford to buy them right now. Our chances of getting new stuff will be after getting our tax refund and that will be early next year. Holiday is coming and there are a lot of huge sale going on in each store. I found a nice dress for my daughter and nice formal attire for my son but we’ll have to wait until next year to get them and we will have our family picture taken in the studio by then. Oh boy, I really hate window shopping.

We'll have other car next year

Hubby said that he’s going to purchase some auto accessories for his car so that whenever we trade it in next year he can increase the market value of his car. We need to get another car that has more room inside because our family is getting bigger and besides sooner or later my parents will be coming over from the Philippines, so all the more reason that we need a bigger car. My husband is kind of unhappy about idea of getting rid of his new car, but what else he can do? We need a bigger car for more room.

City administration office “downtown”

We went there a few days ago to have my daughter’s birth certificate done. Officially she is now a citizen of US and A. They used to have an office here in Chula Vista but I guess they ran out of budget to keep that building going because that’s what the “notice” says when we went to that old building. They only have 3 offices here in San Diego and of them are located in down town and that’s where we went because it’s closer to us. Our next process will be our daughter's passport. Soon!

Hubby’s suggestions

My husband mentioned about purchasing the ukf7003axx PuriClean water filter the other day. He said that it might be more convenient for us to use a water filter instead of buying 10 gallons (5 gallons per each water bottle and we have 2 of them) of water a couple of times a week. I guess he’s getting tired of carrying those heavy bottles especially when our apartment is on the second floor. Just imagine walking 15 steps with your hands full and heavy, you will really get tired of it. Wouldn’t you? Well, I don’t blame him for that because I definitely can’t carry those 10 gallons; they’re too heavy for me. We might consider purchasing a water filter in the future. Not only is it less work but we can save money too!
